Providence Rimless Single Vision Glasses - Gold

Overall, for the price, this style of rimless glasses are unbeatable. They're extremely lightweight (mine clock in at only 9 grams), and I sometimes forget I'm even wearing them! These temples (I am not sure what this style officially called, but I would describe as; thin, titanium alloy, lightweight, flexible/bendable, hingeless). This style temples ensures a secure yet comfortable fit without any pressure from the ends of temple behind the ears. I can shake my head side to side like crazy and the frames remain on my head. I would recommend frames with this style temple. However, be mindful of the lens shape that suits your face best. I realize now this Providence Rimless aren't perfect for my face shape. I use these for computer work at home so it doesn’t bother me much since nobody else sees me. I do plan to pick up next the Kingsley Rimless frames for outside my home use. Very excited to get those! One potential “issue” worth mentioning, the flexible temples don't collapse easily since there are no bundles. This can be tricky to fit them into a case. Not impossible, but does take some finess. I would imagine one could eventually get used to this if you’re having to do it often. For me, this isn't a problem since I hang them next to my desk when not in use.

I am totally satisfied with this selection. This frame and with my lenses, one which is a +5.25 prescription in the 1.67 High-Index Digital Free Form Lenses for an extra $45.95, are so lightweight, it is just incredible to me. These are so flexible also. I will be very careful with them but they are titanium frames so that is also a major plus. I ordered a total of four pairs from Payne Glasses for my first time ordering here and I am so pleased with them all and the entire process. I will now be looking to buy all of my glasses from here in the future and I have tried three other online companies before finding Paynes. I think Paynes has the best quality and value of all.
