Bess Cat Eye Prescription Glasses - Rose Gold

This is my 4th pair of daily wear glasses from Payne and the best yet. Payne is so affordable I can treat myself to a new pair when my prescription changes even slightly. The frames are extremely comfortable. The gold trim is slightly rose and the blue metal is a bit thicker than my previous metal frames. The regular progressive prescription is perfect. I always get Transitions lenses and opted for the Xtractive in this pair because I drive a lot. They darken considerably in the car, just what I wanted. It takes a few extra seconds for them to lighten back up indoors vs regular Transitions. The slight tint indoors (mine are gray) isn't noticeable. The only problem I've had with Payne is how quickly their frames sell out. These Bess were one of 4 favorites I'd noted in the last few months and the only ones still in stock when it was time to order.

I'm thoroughly impressed by even just the quality of the frames alone. They do not feel cheap or fragile in the least. The metal seems to be extremely durable without being too heavy. Perfect.

I got these as a spare pair, but will probably wear them frequently. They look nice and fit well. They look like they cost much more than they did. I recently recommended Payne to a friend needing new glasses!
